This week certainly took a dark turn from the standard PG-rated Hollywood gossip reels of “GUESS WHO’S PREGNANT?” and “JON GOSSELIN DID WHAT?!”. Day after day, new deeply secretive, shameful, and SAD behavior was brought to the light - and much of the divulging was voluntary! Does this feel weird to anyone else? I’m not suggesting that these deep secrets should remain buried, but there’s still something very uncomfortable about hearing their experiences get shared in SUCH PUBLIC WAYS! My goodness!
Whether as victim or perpetrator or in the form of legal crimes, moral sins, or personal errors of judgment, I just don’t like it when the news feels this slimy and when such trends appear to be scaling up instead of winding down. Such infuriating abuses of power! Boo.
