NERD ALERT! This passion for standardized tests is not normal, and should not be encouraged in children. Furthermore, evidence of time-management self-assessment in the 4th grade is a positive predictor of over-commitment in adulthood… which many consider “productive” behavior. Someone should have intervened years ago.
