ASDA News – May 2011 : Better Business Through Public Health?

Behold some ideas that I once had and carefully wrote down. Then sent them to a special place where they were printed on paper and electronically made available here. YAY!

Today begins my last week at the Harvard School of Public Health. I will miss the fascinating classes, very life-friendly schedule, and the awesome new friends such as Dr. Brittany Seymour (above).

I’d been looking forward to earning an MPH for many years. It’s been such a treat, and not just because it brings me closer to the educational background of Sarah Palin.

Have a lovely week.

"Public health is at the threshold of a new era fueled by four simultaneous revolutions: in the life sciences; in information and communication technologies; in systems thinking, allowing us to comprehend and transform complexity; and finally in the human rights revolution, which provides the ethical foundation for so much of our work. We need to rise to the challenges and harness the potential of these developments in an increasingly global world to realize the fundamental right to health for every human being. "
